The Indie Arts & Crafts Fest was born from a shared vision between two local creatives who believed in the power of craftsmanship and community.

We wanted to move away from the impersonal nature of online shopping and create a hands-on, welcoming holiday experience that celebrated creativity and craftsmanship. Our goal was to highlight original handcrafted goods perfect for gifting and to showcase the artistry behind craft beer. To bring this vision to life, we transformed Motor City Brewing Works' warehouse in Midtown Detroit into a cozy holiday market.

The event offered a warm, inviting space where guests could meet the makers, hear the stories behind their work, and find gifts made with love. It encouraged people to support small businesses and take part in something truly special. More than a typical craft show, it reflected intention in every detail, from the curated vendor selection to the emphasis on one-of-a-kind, handmade quality, and the sense of community that inspired guests to linger, connect, and celebrate the season together. The Indie Arts & Crafts Fest quickly became an event that both vendors and guests looked forward to each year.

Motor City's premium craft beer and signature brick oven pizza helped create a laid-back vibe that made the event fun for everyone, whether they were shopping or simply enjoying time with friends. The result was a festive occasion filled with creativity, local talent, and plenty of holiday cheers.
